These technologies fall into three types: (a) SWAY in-platform merchant ad records: impression and click records are stored on our servers (including member ID and IP address) and are retained until the purposes of avoiding repeated exposure, preventing fraud and billing no longer apply; (b) Ad frequency timestamp: stored in the local storage of your device, recording only the time an ad was last shown, containing no identifier, and deleted when you uninstall the app or clear site data; (c) Google AdMob advertising identifiers and similar technologies used inside the app (ads are shown to free members only), which you may manage through your device settings as described in §4.3. SWAY Plus paying members are not shown any advertising, including Google AdMob ads and ad placements purchased by merchants within the platform.
| Cookie Name / Category | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Merchant ad impression / click records (server-side) | Avoiding repeated exposure, preventing click fraud, billing merchants | Retained until the purposes of avoiding repeated exposure, preventing fraud and billing no longer apply |
| Ad frequency timestamp (device local storage) | Controls the interval between ads; records time only, contains no identifier | Until you uninstall the app or clear site data |
| IDFA / GAID (mobile devices) | Read by the Google Mobile Ads SDK for the delivery, personalisation, measurement and fraud prevention of Google ads (paying members are not shown any advertising) | Per device settings (may be refused or deleted at any time) |

| Cookie Name / Category | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Sentry error monitoring (SWAY App) | When an error occurs in the App, records error information and keeps a sample of screen replays of that session (on-screen text and images masked); no screen replay is kept when no error occurs | Per Sentry's retention period, up to 90 days |

You may use your browser settings to delete existing cookies or block future cookies:
⚠️ Blocking necessary cookies will cause core functions such as login and payment to fail.
You may withdraw consent previously given at any time; withdrawal takes effect immediately, but does not affect data lawfully processed before withdrawal.
5.1 The Company reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Amended versions shall be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes shall be announced in-App 7 days in advance.
5.2 If you have any questions or complaints regarding this Cookie Policy, please contact:
This Policy Version 1.1, effective September 20, 2026; the previous Version 1.0 took effect on May 17, 2026.
Correction within the same version on September 13, 2026: now that the App’s "Ad privacy options" entry point is live, the wording in §4.1 has been restored, covering the collection of consent from users in the European Economic Area (EEA) / United Kingdom / Switzerland through Google’s consent management tool (User Messaging Platform, UMP) and the ability to change that choice at any time in the App under "Settings → Privacy settings → Ad privacy options". The version number (1.1) and the effective date (September 20, 2026) remain unchanged.
Correction within the same version on September 16, 2026: the lists in §2 have been rewritten to match the technologies the Service actually uses: §2.1 now lists the login cookie and necessary local storage actually used, §2.2 lists functional local storage, the "ad Quality Score components" item, which the Service does not use, has been removed from §2.3, and §2.4 is now "Error Monitoring", explaining that Sentry keeps a sample of masked screen replays when an error occurs in the App; item names the Service does not use (including the recommendation result cache, map viewport, theme preference, sampled session replay and A/B testing group identifier) have been removed, and §1.3 now states the retention period of local storage. The version number (1.1) and the effective date (September 20, 2026) remain unchanged.
